Below is a sample of RIOT Recruitment’s involvement in the Hawke’s Bay employment market for September 2008…

Unison, through RIOT recruitment, have appointed Chris Vickers in the role of Risk Manager. In this role, Chris has three primary areas of responsibility being Risk Management, Health and Safety Management and Quality Improvement. Chris has 20 years of management experience in a variety of private sector roles. Most recently, he ran his own business, consulting in the H&S and Quality areas.

Dave Wiffen has joined Napier Computer Systems (NCS) as Senior Network Engineer. In this role Dave is responsible for supporting the technology needs for a number of NCS’s key clients. Dave comes from an extensive IT background having held senior roles in organisations including NZ Police, Computerland and Airnet.

The team at DSK Engineering have welcomed Robin Dymond into the role of Non-Technical Team Leader. In this role, Robin’s focus is to maximise the productivity of the DSK Operations team through efficient and effective provision of non-trade resources and materials. Robin comes from an extensive management background in the manufacturing sector, having developed a successful career with Heinz Watties.

Bruce Emerson and Graeme Norton are continuing to grow the team at 3R Group Ltd, with Adele Rose joining in a PA / Project Support role. Adele will provide executive support to the two Directors and will also contribute to a number of the key product stewardship projects that 3R are involved with. Adele has held relevant roles both in New Zealand and Australia, most recently being with Firth Industries in Napier.
